WPCNHF Patient Assistance

Patient Assistance

WPCNHF offers patient assistance designed to provide emergency relief for individuals with bleeding disorder and their families. To qualify, you must be a member of WPCNHF or a patient of the Hemophilia Center of Western Pennsylvania (HCWP). If you are a patient of HCWP, please call them and ask to speak with a social worker (412-209-7280). If you are not a patient of HCWP, please contact us for more information.

Medical ID Jewelry

medicalbraceletMedical ID jewelry is essential for people with bleeding disorders. Wearing a Medical ID can potentially save your life as well as potentially prevent irreversible damage due to delayed treatment. If you are injured and unable to speak for yourself, or speak for your child with a bleeding disorder, the Medical ID can serve to provide emergency personnel with critical information.

WPCNHF provides Medical ID Jewelry free of charge to our members with bleeding disorders. We have accounts with several merchants that specialize in Medical ID Jewelry. There are a variety of styles of necklaces and bracelets to choose from, for both adults and children.

To qualify, you must be a member of WPCNHF or a patient of the Hemophilia Center of Western Pennsylvania (HCWP). If you are a patient of HCWP, please call them and ask to speak with a social worker (412-209-7280), and the social worker will place your order. If you are not a patient of HCWP, please contact us for more information.
